Hi! I’m Adley Beairsto and Audley Made is my growing small business.

The art making process for me rides on waves of inspiration. Sometimes I may be inspired by a book or a new weaving pattern and other times I am inspired by the desire to fashion unwanted things into something desirable.

I graduated from school with a degree in art, specifically, fiber art. I adore taking the thousand year old traditions of weavings and macrame and adding a personal modern flare to them. My works are a celebration of tradition and ideation.

Currently living in Annapolis, Maryland with my boyfriend, Noah. Most days you can find us snuggled up on the couch with a ball of rope and the football playing.

I graduated from James Madison University with a degree in art, Spanish and art education. This year is my first year as an elementary art teacher. I love working with the students as they keep my inner child and excitement for creativity alive.

When I am not teaching or knotting, I am most likely doing some self-care in the kitchen (as I love experimenting with new vegan recipes) or on my yoga mat grounding myself.
